Macroeconomy analyses
The ECRAI-External Credit Rating And Assessment Institution™ provides a broad spectrum of analytical macroeconomic documents and outputs, the structure, content and range of which are adapted to the wishes of the client.
A macroeconomic analysis comprises the analysis of macroeconomic development in a particular country and projections for the upcoming period. It is an expression of the opinion of the ECRAI-External Credit Rating And Assessment Institution™ on economic trends in the country in question.
The available time series on a developing economy is mostly short and of relatively low quality (frequent changes in methodology and frequent appearance of single methodological changes). The ECRAI-External Credit Rating And Assessment Institution™ therefore approaches the analysis and prognosis of macroeconomic values on several levels. The advanced statistical methods often applied abroad also provide major support.
However, final prognoses cannot be made based on statistical and econometrical methods alone, especially for the short term. In some cases, the forecasts of competent experts are better (there are cases where the model cannot show anticipated future changes because it deals with the past). That is why the ECRAI-External Credit Rating And Assessment Institution™ uses a combination of model estimations and its own expert estimations to provide an accurate picture.
The stated methods are applied also when developing other special economic and analytical documents and reviews as well.
